Lupita Mexican Cantina ("we," "us," "our") runs this website and the family cantina and mercado in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. What we collect
- Contact form details. When you write to us through our contact form, we collect the name, email address, message, and — if you choose to provide them — phone number and topic. These fields are sent to us by email so we can reply.
- Technical and security data. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers automatically process limited technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the site, prevent spam, and keep it secure.
How we use it
We use the information you send only to respond to your inquiry — questions, catering, private events, press, or careers. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing.
Service providers we use
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides spam and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) on the contact form, plus privacy-friendly, cookie-free website analytics that count visits without identifying you.
- Resend delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox as email.
These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Canada. We share only what is needed to provide the service.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may store a short-lived token in your browser to confirm you are not a bot when you submit the form. Our analytics do not use cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form emails for as long as needed to answer you and to maintain reasonable business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your message sooner at any time.
Your choices
Under PIPEDA you may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
